A custom icon family gives each hackathon theme its own visual shorthand, connecting different fields of innovation through one graphic language.
The system spans themes from clean energy and climate change to archaeology, emerging sectors, Government 2.0 and City 2.0.
Always in beta
Patterns shift, code repeats and graphics move. The visual language was designed to feel active rather than fixed, reflecting ideas being tested, changed and built in real time.
Wear the system
The visual language moves beyond the screen into the physical experience of the hackathon, badges, IDs, wristbands, apparel and participant materials become pieces of the identity itself. The original system was applied across all of these formats.
